How does Sebsoft handle your data?

We use your data exclusively for our own services and processes. This means:

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not share your data with third parties (unless strictly necessary to fulfil your request).
• We use the data to keep you informed about developments at Sebsoft and its services.
• We use the data for our financial administration.
• We collect anonymised usage data to improve our technical infrastructure.

Sebsoft is a Dutch company with servers in European data centres and therefore does not fall under US data legislation such as the CLOUD Act.

Privacy statement

Sebsoft B.V. is a Data Controller for the personal data you (the data subject) provide to us. We collect the following types of data:

Individuals: Name, address, email address, telephone number, bank details.

Businesses: Company name, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, address, contact person, email address, telephone number, bank details.

Why do we need it?

We need your personal data to provide the services you have requested, including invoicing, domain registration, SSL certificate verification, and incident response.

What do we do with it?

Your personal data is processed at Sebsoft B.V. in Halsteren, the Netherlands. Hosting and storage take place in one or more data centres used by us within Western Europe. We do not store data outside Europe.

No third-party suppliers have access to your data unless specifically required by law.

How long do we keep it?

Under Dutch law we are required to retain your documents for 7 years. After this period your personal data will be irreversibly destroyed. Personal data held for marketing communications will be retained until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive such information.

What are your rights?

If you believe any personal data we hold is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request access, rectification or deletion. Most data can be viewed or corrected via our customer panel. You may also contact us via the request form.
