Course access via coupon codes.
Four plugins that together handle one thing: someone gets a code and lands in the right course. Without you creating an enrolment by hand for every participant.
What you use this for
- You sell course access outside Moodle and want to hand participants a code.
- A client buys fifty seats and distributes them internally.
- Participants need to sign up without you creating accounts up front.
- You want a coupon field on your own page or inside a form.

Coupon processor profile field

profilefield_coupon · GPL, free to use

Good to know
- The suite handles access, not payment. If someone should pay first, combine it with the payment plugins.
- Coupons attach to courses, cohorts or groups; not to individual activities.
- All four plugins are GPL and free to use, with or without us.
Frequently asked questions
Can one coupon serve multiple people?
Yes. You can generate individual codes per participant, or one code with a maximum number of users. The latter is useful when a client distributes them internally.
Does this work if participants have no account yet?
That is what the authentication plugin is for. Someone enters a coupon code and email address, the account is created and the enrolment follows immediately.
What if we need a change?
The plugins are open source, so you can change them yourself. If you would rather not, we build the change and keep it working across future Moodle versions.
Need this to do something it does not do yet?
The plugins are open source and free to use. If you need a change, a migration or someone to keep them working across Moodle upgrades, that is what we do.
No obligation, no sales pitch. We advise first; a proposal comes later.
